how wide of a tire?

[1986 Buick GX1]

i purchased a set of 15x10 GN repro. wheels, gbody parts states its made to take a 275/60/15. i would like that size but can i go 315 wide? anyone have any pictures of a 315/60/15 on their GN?

I've had a discount tire do a test fit before a tire purchase on a lifted '00 Grand Cherokee.
It was their idea to do this and insisted on it to make sure.
They did have that tire size in stock, just not the brand I wanted.

It might be worth it to call around.

Have a friend of mine that is pretty good with offsets and tire sizes for fitting, took his advice and turned out to fit just right. Gonna see when everything settles and do a couple nice hits and find out. Still have a bunch of crap to fix... couple of months and spring is here!
