What Dusty said.

BPU cars will trap easy 118-120's all day.

Good drivers on drag radials will put them into the 11's with ease.

Just tell him your car is not geared well for high speeds like his 6 spd car, which is true. So, if he won't go from a stop, go from a 30 and no more. These cars can make insane peak numbers, but most make mediocre power under the curve. Which is why you see so many run 12's at 125. I would not be worried about a Supra that still has stock twins. It is the big single guys you have to watch out for.

It would be best to get him to a track though.

thanks guys, well the next thing they want me to race if I beat this one is another supra with a 67mm turbo. we'll see what happens.

Take no chances

Hey I tell you what, I rode in a Supra in Illinois awhile back that was a WICKED Mother for sure.

I was Shocked when the guy told me he turned only 12.20 in the 1/4, but that thing was a rocketship, felt like low 11's. He just could not 60' the car.
But once it was rolling, hang on!

Car impressed me so much I asked him to sell it to me. BAD! ride, and I dont even like imports, but seeing was believing.

Go from a DIG! like everyone says thows car can be Friken fast.

Sneak into his garage the night before and loosen his intercooler hoses. And then show up at the race and ask him to go from a 120mph roll. ;)

when enough money is put into it ANYTHING can be the fastest on the street. We no longer dominate on the street with the basic power upgrades that used to do it, however, dollar for dollar, we can go fast for way cheaper than the other options. The Supra, with bolt ons that cost ridiculous money compared to us, us a true super car from a roll. I am aware of a Supra motor that made 1,000 hp on the dyno....with a STOCK longblock  Our drivelines could never do that.....but it is more peaky hp than ours and costs way more. Our chassis is far superior to just about anything for 60 footing...especially compared to a Supra. In a "real" race....from a dead stop....a GN is the best bet....however a GN that runs a full second better than a Supra in a quarter mile might very well lose to that same car from a 55 mph roll. Respect Supras....and buy more go fast parts for your GN :)

i hope your GN runs low 12's to high 11's.. Supras are nothing to mess with.. my car is quick and i don't even play around with them :o ..
