I bought this car with NO front or rear sway bars. I did some searches and found through research and experience that these cars like to push in a turn.
With this info in hand I bought an ATR rear sway bar and a 36mm F-body front sway bar. It still has the original springs,Pep Boys rear gas shocks and some old gas shocks up front.
Now the car seems a tad loose.
Here is what I was thinking. Moog 5658 springs up front, 579 lb/in. , and either leaving the old stock springs in the rear or going with Moog 5455 in the rear, 125 lb/in.
With my old worn out springs the car looks like it sits low. I want to keep this stance. I'm not above cutting springs to get a ride height.
I'm also NOT building an autocrosser. Just something that looks good and can handle the cloverleaf exit at 50 mph.
Oh yeah, I will be putting on new Bilsteins
