On the math calculator websites, they have programs that show how much HP is needed to go "X" ET based on weight.

Is the horse power show on these HP calculators based on flywheel HP or rear wheel HP ??
 
I think it varies, from one site to the next. Most accurate is rear wheel, since the losses from flywheel to the tire surface vary a lot, depending on rear end, transmission, torque converter, etc. HP, at the rear wheels, to get a certain level of ET or mph, is pretty constant, but the calculators will have to "guess" at the drivetrain losses to calculate flywheel HP.
