Do they transfer more vibration to the frame while driving on the street at highway speeds , I have noticed they are not as smooth as the original ones or do I have a too firm one for the street ? Has anyone experienced that on their Turbo Buick ?

they do make a soft version a well as stiffer for higher hp and they write the version on the mount

I just brought a set last week, and getting ready to install them today. Mine have a 70 durometer hardness, is this hardness good for a street car ?

Yup, you will be fine.
I've been running these for years & although they do transmit a bit more vibration, it's not very noticeable once you put on a few hundred miles & get acquainted with the feel. It's comforting knowing that you'll not ever have to change these again from wearing out like the stockers do.

Don't take this the wrong way. I'm wanting to know what you expected. In the search for asking your car to perform better then it was built to, it's gonna lose its "comfort" some.
Bracing is def mandatory on these cars because they are a wet noodle without. My car rattled and squeaked so bad...it drove me insane. I have a T top car, so it was more noticeable then my friends hardtop. I started adding braces. I welded in the GNX seat brace, and went to the HR swaybar in the rear. WOW...what a difference. Then I added frame braces, body mounts, and then the motor and tranny mounts. Add in the RJC rear engine brace...and it's as stiff as it can get without a cage or frame boxing. It has lost it's "comfortable" ride...but handles and responds better to the power it makes.
I do not know how much other stiffening you have added already, so you need to post up. If your in doubt about how the ride feeling is after the mounts...maybe stop now. You'll get use to them in a few weeks of driving.

This car is box stock with what ever bracing it come with from the factory , I just noticed some more feeling in the car at highway speeds but its not bad enough to change back and knowing that stock mounts just do not get it when you want performance and wanting to keep the motor from rearing up and getting ugly . I was just wondering if any body else was feeling the same thing in their upgrade mounts . Thanks for all the comments

Your welcome. It's hard to know what some expect when they "upgrade". There are a few other braces that are worth the $$$ and actually really help. Do a search on the "bolt on braces".

I will be running them soon. If I remember I'll post back with my impressions. I expect some transmission of vibration but I also want my engine planted and not doing a jig under my hood.

I didn't notice any difference with mine and thought if anything it was smoother but I also went from stock stroke to long road stroker with liquid harmonic balancer that may have helped smooth it out. Now the poly body mounts, yeah, definitely get more vibration.

Yes, you will have a little more vibration and noise. Comes with the territory. ;)

I put one on the drivers side and a new stocker on the right side. To be honest I never really noticed any more noise/vibration than with 2 stockers. I also use a stock tranny mount.

I have them, I didn't notice enough of a difference to care about, but then again, I have just a little bit more power than "stock". :D

The softer ones by themselves maybe a lil more but nothing crazy. If you have a poly trans mount get rid of it cause it will for sure transmit vibes at highway speeds.

Off the wall question, what size of motor mount bolt are you using with the H&Rs?
