I have the bushing removal tool and will try to install uppers and lowers this weekend.

Any free advice to make the job easier and minimize re-work or mistakes is appreciated.

TIA

Put the bushings in the freezer a few days before you plan to install them.

Do one at a time. And have a ratchet strap around the axle to the trans crossmember to make it easier to line the holes back up. At least for the lowers. I have never touched my uppers so I cant help you there.

Uppers is easy to put in but hell to get out (bushings) even wt the tool . Just got done doing uppers and lowers . The lowers where harder to me get a helper and but try to wide the mount brackets if possible for the lowers as for the uppers bolt to the frame first then use a floor jack to lift rearend bolt in one side then go to the opposite side of the rearend to bolt the other good luck. P.S get a case of beer to u will need it.

Uppers are a bitch. I think I ended up burning mine out with a propane torch and collapsing the outer with vice grips to get them out. Looking back I would have left the soft rubbers in the axle and went poly every where else.
