Hvac vacuum line?

I've got an 86 regal with a 5.3/4l60e swap.

On top of the truck intake where the evap purge used to be I have a small vacuum line running to another line that appears to run under the heater box. I was trying to figure out what this line is.

Any ideas?

The red line and another very similar white line come out in the same area, both have a 90* rubber boot on the end of them.

Nice. Not many Bengals fans around here. I'm a big one myself. It takes dedication with lots of heartbreak lol.
anyways, one of those lines controls the heater hose valve , the other brings vacuum into the car to open and close vents.

I know, there's very few around here too (South Carolina), usually when someone asks me if I'm a bengals fan it's because they're a steelers fan. Those guys are everywhere!
