i have a complete new hydroboost brake setup from an 84 gn and i am wondering did they use a different pedal assembly from the vacuum brake cars, like the later powermaster cars. the reason is my car doesnt have alot of vacuum, one panic stop and she dies, i had all new brake componets, but no diff. so i figured id give hydroboost a try since it runs off the power steering, so do i need the hydroboost pedal assembly or will the vacum pedal assembly work?

JUST A NOTE....THE HYDROBOOST CONVERSION USES THE SAME BRAKE PEDAL AS THE POWERMASTER, AND DOES NOT NEED THE PEDAL CHANGE. IT BOLTS RIGHT IN! IT CAN GENERATE 1400PSI TO 2000 PSI WITH "NO VACUUM" THANKS. YOU CAN SEE IT AT POWERBRAKESERVICE.NET

This was qouted by a member in another post and should answer your question.
