I plan to get a set of valve covers done in carbon fiber. I was told it would hold up as well as any automotive paint. Most places use an automotive clearcoat.
 
hello cork; Are you getting the job done with the hydro system? I'd like to know how it works out for you if you do. From the videos I've seen it's looks real nice but there was no words about durability.

A local guy does that process...NOT cheap! Seems there's a considerable prep time involved.
Was going to have $100 bills put on the intake cover on the 55............................Until I got the sticker shock applied. Min = $200.:eek:

It would be done in hydrographics, I was trying to get it done over winter but ran out of time. There is a board member from PA that does it I will see if I can find his username.
