I added 4 pics to my webshots gallery at the bottom. The pics are shot at a rest stop on a road called the Devil's Backbone. Ranch Road 12 in the hill country south of Austin, Texas. If you notice the chain link fence in the background. After that fence there is probably about a 100ft dropoff into the valley you see. Just thought I'd pass the pics along.

Great looking car. I still think you should paint the wheels black between the spokes though. Also I think it would look better if you had the front spoiler on the car. Do you have one? If not look in the new product request portion of this board and you can read up on how to get a reproduction front spoiler. I hope Im not sounding to critical cause Im not trying to be, I think you have an awsome car.

Devil's Backbone is some AWESOME country!
I'll be back there in about 4 weeks. Nice pics.

I have seen your car twice in town. Once out on the highway and once in town. I work for autozone and I saw you out on the highway in the delivery truck one day. Dunno if you remember that or not; and the other time was in my personal vehicle. The car is not currently in San Marcos, it is in Waco, but I had it down here for a week because the withdraws got too much for me to bear. Going to school, and working 30 hours a week leads to zero time to play with your cars by the way. I would love to take a look at your car sometime. If you stop by the Zone during the evening hours I should be there like 5 - close. And if you need any help working on your car I have had mine totally ripped apart so I pretty much know what's involved in putting it all back.

I would like to paint the wheels black but, again whenever I get to be with the car I want to drive it not work on it. I have a set of BFG's mounted on T-type rims painted black between the spokes. As far as the spoiler I thought about putting the 86-87 air dams on the front due to my intercooler scoop. The original hotair spoiler is freaking outrageously priced and would block flow to my scoop I believe. Still kinda undecided, but yes I agree it needs something. It also needs about a week and a half of underhood detailing. Driven through a lot of rain and caused it to become very dirty. Anyways thanks for the kind words guys.

See ya round nasty

dang, im in schertz, not far from there, i have an 84 also, we should all meet up sometime, although my engines apart right now, im converting it to IC'd ;)

Waco84gn,
Who makes the intercooler setup you have?

intercooler setup

The setup I currently have is made by BERGER BUICK :-P. I didnt like having to rip apart my core support for the spearco front mount so I relocated the spearco IC with the help of my dad's machining skills to the stock 86-87 location. The mounting brackets, and shroud are totally custom, and the pipes are old spearco units. If I had time I would make new pipes, but school is a full time job right now. If you wanna know something about the setup just ask. I will gladly help someone go faster anyday. It is amazing that someone thinks that a vendor made that kit. My dad will flip when I tell him.

Thanks for looking,

Jerry Berger

looks very nice. I'm wondering because I've got a feeling that in 8 or 9 months or so, when I'm all caught up with everything else I need to get caught up with under the hood, I'll be looking to add a intercooler setup like yours. I definetly don't want a 86/87 intercooler setup. Something like what you have is way more unique. I assume bolt-on intercooler set ups similiar to yours are no longer made. So I plan on keeping my eye out to see if I can snatch one up somewheres.

i agree that we should all meet up. i will try and stop by the auto zone sometime soon, i've had to use the tools up there last year when my headlights had to be replaced. i would really like to see first hand the difference a intercoller would make. keep the car looking good and probably see you soon. btw- do you drive a blue or green s10?

nope the truck was white

I drive a white s10 on autozone commerical runs and I personally drive a pewter metallic s10 blazer. It kinda looks gold, but kinda not. I will be going up to waco during labor day for my bros bday. I will at least probably get to start the car anyways. If you would like better engine pics of something let me know so I can snap them while I am there.
