April 3 - 5th Annual Car Show at Virginia State University's Rogers Stadium (Stadium Drive, Petersburg, VA 23806), 10 am - 2 pm. Registration begins at 10 am with judging at 2 pm. Admission is free for all spectators and there is a registration fee for all vehicles ($10 for cars and trucks, $5 for motorcycles, $5 extra the day of the show). The show is open to all years makes and models and offers trophies for Best Classic Car, Best Custom Car, Best Truck, Best Bike and Best in Show. Proceeds will benefit VSU's Mass Communications Club. April 10 - Virginia Classic Cruisers 14th annual Open Car Show - from 9:00AM to 3:00PM at Southside Nazarene Church (Route 288 and Courthouse Road), Chesterfield, Virginia. Proceeds from the show will be used to provide aid and comfort to wounded veterans at McGuire Veterans Hospital through the RAT III organization. April 10 - New Location Virginia Chevy Lovers Spring Dustoff to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held on Saturday April 10, 2010. The event will be held in Virginia beach VA. at Pembroke Mall (Town Center) at the corner of VA. Beach Blvd and Constitution Blvd by Kohl's Dept. store. Open to all Chevy and Chevy powered vehicles built prior to 1986. Top 30 participant choice and best of show. Pre-registration is $15 before April 1, 2010, $20 after that and day of show. April 10 - Chow Down Food Festival Open Car Show from 11am-8pm at the Powhatan County Fairgrounds located on Rt. 60 in Powhatan, VA. Free admission and free parking family fun event. Powhatan County Parks and Recreation Department will be partnering with the Powhatan Fair Association and hosting a county-wide outdoor Food Festival, “Chow Down in Powhatan” to benefit the Food Bank. We want to attract as many people as possible and what better way to do that than to showcase beautiful cars. There will be live music, silent auction, and more. In today’s world more people than ever are challenged with providing their families with the basics, food, clothing, and housing. With no relief in sight people are depending on us, their community to bridge the gap. We hope your car club will participate in this worthy cause. The goal is to raise 1,000 pounds of food. April 17 - Hadensville Volunteer Fire & Rescue 4th Annual Car & Truck Show. Event will be held at the Goochland Drive-In Theater located at 4344 Old Fredericksburg Rd 1/2 mile south of exit 152 Hadensville exit off I-64. Open show with multiple classes and lots of trophies. April 23 - 24 - Tidewater Street Rod Association will host the 38th Annual Colonial Williamsburg Rod Run in the parking lot behind the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors Center, Williamsburg, VA. April 24 - 2nd Annual VA Willys Jeep Thing and Ettrick Celtic Festival 10 AM to 5 PM at Knox Springs Farm, 2110 Halloway Avenue, Matoaca, VA 23803. Car show and swap meet for 1969 and older Willys and Kaiser Jeeps both military and civilian. Must be registered to be judged. All Jeep vehicles welcome.
