After lurking here for a month or so, I have purchased my first Grand National. It's a 87 with 67k miles. Has 60# injectors and a Turbo Tweak Street Chip. Other than that is bone stock.

Immediate To Do List:
Fix the brakes. Currently the pedal goes to the floor and the brake light is on. Fluid level is low in the reservoir. I'm hoping it's just leaky wheel cylinders. If it is then I will upgrade to S10 wheel cylinders.

Scan Master.

Gauges.

Short Term To Do List
Get an original radio and get it working properly (maybe even have an input installed for my I-Pod). Currently has an aftermarket radio which only works on the front speakers.

Get the A/C working and maybe convert to R134. Blows warm now.

Long Term
Cold air intake.

Maybe a bigger turbo and a downpipe.

Here's a pic:

Even before you fix the brakes, put about three antitheft devices on that thing! Looks sharp.

Hey bud nice car if you don't mind what did you end up paying for that w 67k miles? I'm in NJ too having a tough time locating a nice GN. Trying to stay under 20k. Good luck with it. I'm in Morris county. Maybe I'll see you at a show somewhere in the near future :)

$9700 for the car. Has some cosmetic issues.but the interior is sweet.
