Sorry I haven't had a chance to post in a few days...things have been pretty crazy between work and many car projects. I happen to run across a fellow board member selling a gently used TE-63-1 which I decided to purchase. I used to have the same turbo on my old car which ran really well. I remember coasting to 113mph in the 1/4 at Reynolds with a similar combo. Unfortunately, my car was stolen before I really had a chance to tune everything up properly. The price savings between the 63-1 and a new 67bb allowed me to upgrade some mandatory support mods including the purchase of a Powerlogger, WB02, and other little odds and ends. Now I can finally begin the tuning process on my new car! Also, I figure I will use this time to relearn everything I've forgotten over the past five years, catch up on all this awesome new technology, and see how much of a difference these new billet turbos make.

Very rational thinking! Enjoy getting to know it all again:biggrin:

I installed a bilet 6765DBB on a car yesterday and at 24 PSi with pump gas and alky it flat rocks. We took of a Turbonetics 70 ptrim BB and this one spools much faster and leaned out the car quite a bit. We will put it on the dyno soon with both turbos and post the results but you can't go wrong with the billet 67
Mike

Yes please post the dyno 411 on both.

I love my Turbonetics 66, you dont need the cooling lines or turbo saver. It spools crazy with a 2800 12"

My vote Turbonetics 66 or 70.
