drew carlton had an experiemental v2 or v3 intake and ran easy 11.80s with it.

Actually it was the only V3 Jay @ Turbomotion made and Drews car was the experimental guinie pig. And your right it was based of the T Riv set up. This intake was also made on the concept of making it easier to add an intercooler to the stock type set up.
 
I totally understand about wanting to run a different turbo. I've wanted to experiment with a GT series turbo after all the good things I've heard. I just think it's unnecessary for the majority of hotair owners that would be happy with 12s. In other words a little TA49 spools great and will meet most people's goals. For those of us wanting to dip in the 10s and have great spool, the newer turbos would be great. I was in the process of finding a GT equivilent of my TA66 just to see the difference but money ran short. Even still, I will somehow find a way to use the hotair intake. :)

never asked jay if he ever made any other ones. drew's car is in storage, he moved to ****in alaska :(
