Yeah, I checked that on my kids '09 the other day and thought it was pretty funny!!

So mabe it's not a myth  cecked one i got my kid and it's the same way mabe we sould complain to hotwheels

Just checked the one the wife bought me...sure enough it's a twin turbo. It's not even painted black either. Must be the ultra rare undercover FBI model.

model #10 states that only 547 Buick Grand Nationals were made. It does not say GNX.

looks like it's also got the ultra rare "removable one piece front clip" option, too.

The reason it has a removable hood and twin turbos is because it is the super rare "Crand National"! Yes that is with a "C".

LOL! I was thinking that too. Wouldn't a removeable one piece front clip like that make it easy to work on the motor.

does it say anywhere on the packaging that it is supposed to be a stock GN?
i have a die cast Hot Wheels 66 Corvette that has the full on drag treatment- tubbed rear, skinny tires on the front, tube chassis, blown big block with a scoop higher than the hood- but nowhere on the box did it say anything besides "66 Corvette".

gotta love the Lingenfelter motor in the HW GN!! I glued the clip on, drilled a hole through the rear bumper and made a key chain.
