One is a CZ4 the other a CZ5. I took them apart side by side and compared them today because I have someone interested in one as long as it is unmolested. Unfortunately I found many differences. Almost every spring is different. I was thinking shift kit, but upon inspection and measurement of the valves I discovered that the accumulator valve, the 3-4 TV valve, and the 2-3 TV valve are different sizes between the two VB's. Also one of them does not have a spring in the TV modulator upshift valve. Both of these VBs are ECM controlled lock up, and I did not receive any plates with them so I do not have any plate hole info. Is it even remotely normal to have this kind of variation between two similar coded VBs? I don't want to sell someone something that is hacked up.

Thanks.

Is there anything in particular that I need to check before selling one? I don't see where they drilled any holes or ground anything off. Do any of the shift kit makers change anything other than springs?

Thanks.
