years ago when i worked for a pest controll company i was accussed of stealing a ring.i know exactly how you feel.i wound up taking the lie detector test.passed and they left me alone.turned out that one of her kid's had the damn ring.if i had it to do over again i prolly wouldnt do a lie test .you never know how good the guy is doing it and if they want to pin the stolen ring on you then they can.hell i was so nervous when they were testing me that i was convinced i took the ring.hope the best for you.

Even if you fail they cannot do anything. Even If you actually took it and took the test and failed, there is nothing they can do. At this point, they would have to find the merchandise in your posession or whoever you sold it to.

I would tell them YOU will take the poly as long as the OWNER takes a poly also.
