Looking forward to the updates on your project. These guys have put up with me for a while, this is one of the better car boards on the internet. Honestly, if I could have found a TR in the right shape/price at the time, I wouldn't have bought my SC (even though I love it more than expected). The goal is one of each now. ;)
FWIW, I think you should be heading up a new list over there for an unlimited class. It'll happen one day, just get that car on the road.

Man it is sure good to hear from a familiar person! These guys are cool. It's funny, but I had always wanted a Buick GN too. I love my Supercoupe, but the Buick was my first love!

I can't wait to post some results on my project soon! I know these guys will offer invaluable information with this little 3.8:)

Single turbo is far less expensive. You'll need to toss the EEC lV for a FelPro/FAST sytem as I don't think the daughter-boards avail to EEC lV's will work with a turbo app. The 8.8" rear will last a while, but the IRS will shatter in short time if the pronounced wheel-hop continues, so toss the Teikos and put in some aftermarket shocks. IS your car AOD or T5? Turbos don't like unloading and loading between shifts unless you incorporate the strange, and ludicrously expensive, Subaru 'boost trap' system employed on their WRX etc, so go automatic You have some challenges ahead of you, but keep us informed as 2 close friends have SC's. I arrived home tonight to see that my wife's TC was vandalized to hell tonight by some inconsiderate penis smokers so now I have the pleasure of dealing with the insurance rapists tomorrow.

I am VERY interested in your statement about the Felpro/Fast system. Mr. Tom Berry from HP performance is looking to take advantage of things that will help this project that are already out there. He has already considered an intake from Super Six. I would like to know more about this Felpro/Fast oppourtunity.:eek:
With the AOD equipped Supercoupes we don't have a wheel-hop issue. The 5-speeds seem to be plagued with this issue. My car is an Auto. In fact, I have installed an ART CARR Extreme AOD.

You say the single turbo setup is far less expensive, but which is more benificial between a single or dual setup. I have heard that a single turbo setup is more efficient if sized right for the application.:confused:

We have some really smart minds over at www.sccoa.com and I am really feeling confident about this project with some of you guys giving advise.:cool:
