I'm switching back to a lock up from a non lock and I'm trying to find a converter lock up valve kit. The part that installs above the TCC solinoid that goes in the pump. I also need a stock 2-3 shift valve spring to replace the one that was put in from a shift kit a few years ago to straighten up the 2-3 shift, I believe the spring is too stiff. Please if you have these parts or know someone who does email me with how much you want for these parts, I can pay immediatly. My motor is almost ready to go back in and I need these things to get back on the road. Email is donnieandheather@alltel.net TIA :)

Thank you so much!! I had to send via email, my PM's aren't working for some reason

The reason I wanted to change the 2-3 shift valve spring back to stock is to try to clear up the 2-3 shift at wot . Normal and any street driving everything is perfect, but at the track the car wants to hang up so to speak at the 2-3 shift. 1-2 is perfect but when it's time for the 2-3 the car winds out about as tight as it can go before it's almost forced to have to shift into 3rd and sometimes I have to lift a little before it shifts. From what I've read and understand about it all is the governor has to be able to overcome the mainline pressure and still be able to push the 2-3 valve open against it's spring to allow the shift to happen. So I guess if the 2-3 spring is too stiff the governor has to have more speed to generate enough pressure to do it's job. If this line of thinking is correct changing the spring would be the easiest thing to do at this point. But that being said, all I know is from what I've read and have no hands on experience on this. If there is a better direction to diagnose this 2-3 shift problem I'm open to anything and everything :) Thanks!!!

Thumbs Up!!

Hats off to Len ( LVGN ) at Performance Transmission. I was needing a lock up valve and springs and he was kind enough to send me one at no charge and no shipping charge either. Things like this go along way in my book and will not be forgotten. Again Lenny, Thank You very much!!!
