Try your local United Rentals.

I believe the daily rental rate for a car trailer is $60.00 for a 24hr period. Supply your own chains, binders or tie-down straps, If I recall..they charge $12.00 each for these items.

You'll need a full size pick-up that has a frame mounted tow package, with a 2" ball.

I know some might consider this foolhardy, but you can do what Neal and I do and just simply drive your car to the track(s) seeing as they're both relatively close and switch tires and fuel once you're there. Frankly, it'd be nice to see someone else besides the two of us drive a 10-second car, set it up and run 6.50s-6.60s or whatever, and if you had a problem AAA Silver could take care of you. I know you have a manual VB and a TH400 now but it's not that far of a drive to Fontana from our neck of the woods. And, it would help perpetuate our Buicks' reputation as being honest-to-goodness 10-second capable and streetable too.

Also, it was good to see you on the road the other night....when do I get a ride in your car?? :biggrin:

it can be done BUT with a 3 speed and 373 gears it's just really hard on the motor. we are turning around 3300rpm or so at 65mph. it sucks driving at highway speeds with no overdrive with those gears :frown: ..

its not like you'll go above 25mph on the way to the track anways Our traffic blows. On the way home would suck though!

How many guys are running at Fontana on Friday? I think I will be making the trip to try to get the 160# injector program tweeked in. I hear that the racing starts at noon but the gate opens at 8:00am.

If you guys need oil at that PSCA race, hit up my brother, I think he will have a spot with Lucus Oil junk and some of his crap. Look for Outlaw Motor Sports signs or banners

I'll be there on Fri. Jeff. I talked with the guy he said you don't have to be a member for Fri. Test&Tune. Most guys aren't ready at 12noon they are too busy setting up their cars and their pit location. They get on the track around 3pm so you should get a lot of runs in. :biggrin:
