i need an update on cams

well after 6k on the rebuild my lunati flat tappet cam took a dump.
exhaust lobe#3. my question is should i go to a roller cam or does it matter. I dont whant to go through this again as most of you probably have. What make ,vendor should i look into.

No flames intended, just my experience, I got 4500m out of a poston's GN110T and wiped the #1 exhaust and bent the #1 intake pushrod and also blew the head gasket on #3. Sound like A bad weekend? I would say so.

Put stock cam back in with new lifters. Will let everyone know the results.

I wiped a Lunati 200-200 cam out in motor with under 3000 and now i have a Comp Cam 212-212 thats working good so far Frank
