I need info...on the 5 alcohol test cars that the gov't had

Does anyone know where I can find information on the 5 alcohol/methanol test cars that the gov't had back in '87??? I own one I would just like a little more info. on it....I know what kind of parts came in it, I know just about everything about it....I would just like to know more about it...things like the serial #'s off the 2 pumps that came on it.....what kind of alky was used? things like that...Thank You

I almost went to that auction but backed out. Kicked myself after when I found out how cheap the cars sold for....wasn't the highest price just under $3000 for the one in decent condition?

Anyway I do know some people that were on the list bought some. Perhaps you can post your question over there...they may still be around.

yea they were cheap, i bought mine for 7,000 after the guy i bought it froms son was caught doing 115mph in a 55 at 14psi....these cars are rockets their light as a feather @3300 pounds, mine is converted over to gas now..but i still have all the parts except for the pumps that came in them...and i have no idea where they went to....someone kept them along the way.....i have the harness, wires, 30 gal stainless steel gas tank, 62# injectors, etc etc

No Ive looked all over using google, kazaa, I cant find anything about them anywhere, I had a little bit of paper work on them, but when I moved it got lost somewhere....I really hope someone can help me....this is a task for those who think they know everything about a turbo buick......I havent gotten alot of replys back on this and the ones I did get didnt help me.....its funny b/c most people think that jay carter or someone like that who has an alky kit came up with the idea of these cars running on alky and methanol.....lol...no it was being done back in 87....by the govt
