Here I go again.

Don't care about mileage. I do care about service records and paint.
Will pay cash in partial trade for my 1986 Mustang SVO (73000 miles original and well documented)

Yes, I have looked through the for sale section. I would rather someone who was interested in the SVO come to me. I hate asking "would you take a trade?".

I'm in no rush, just puttin' it back out there.

If you want pics of the stang go here: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/non-buick-cars-sale/304432-pristine-1986-mustang-svo.html

The trim has been painted back to the satin charcoal. The bi-wing will be painted next weekend. Looks better now.

Thanks,

Dan

and i'm spent.....

Here's the skinny thus far:
*fog light switch is iffy - will replace
*exhaust is in great shape except the previous owner put flows on it and they were installed by a blind person. I removed the cat because it hung so low and straight piped it. It still needs to have the mufflers removed and reset with better units.
*passenger seat is starting to rip in the center, which is weird cuz no one ever sits there. The drivers seat is in perfect condition other than the seatbelt rubbing the bolster on retraction.
*yes, there is a nice superficial coating of rust on the rear end, I assure you it is sound.
*the retractable cover for the rear hatch area is awol.
*the stereo suck, but is leaps and bounds better than the stock unit.

That's about it.

What I have done to it...straight pipe, SMC alky, K&N (still have stock airbox and original - like came in the car in 86 air filter), added a switch for cooling fans. That is it. Oh, and power 6 valve stem caps just to piss people off.

Thanks for looking.

Ty, if this needs to be moved to the non-Buick section feel free to do so.
I just realized that my query for a TR turned into a Ferd add.

My bad, you still get the reacharound.....from Chrarlie.

I probably better play by the rules,,,, I am waiting Charlie:eek::biggrin::eek::eek:

Nice clean SVO, Dan...They are fun cars. Don't find too many in that kind of condition any more. GLWS

That's funny...I'm looking for a WE4

I can't say what it's worth as I am a firm believer in "it's worth what someone will pay for it".

I can tell you KBB, NADA, and Edmonds are useless in this case.

As far as I am concerned this car is worth 7K all day long. When they finally do get a spotlight, this one will be up there in value with the best of them. There aren't many "best ones" left either.

Sweet, an XR and an SVO for sale. Take that Mr. Odds...

The SVO got a new timing belt this week because it told me it needed it by nosediving on the tollway on my way to work. Took about 30 minutes to slap a new one on. Just need to set timing and she's good.

LOL you guys need to get in on our midwest threads.

I've always thought those turbo stangs were cool. Would have been even cooler to put them in a notchback:cool:
