I've had this completed for a few months but finally took some pics of it. Big Red, my truck finally got some new interior after 10 years and 150k miles.
New bright red Corvette style seats and new center console and steering wheel leather.

Keep in mind everything about the truck is basically red.

Looks good! Is that siren for your alarm  ?
Yep,its very loud, 120 dec I think is what its rated at :D
Had one on my old Monte SS, it got broke into twice at school and nothing was taken, not even the 2 CD cases in the back seat...must have been too loud for them and scared the crap out of them.

Thanks for the compliments on the interior..its a little bright for some.

That is RED! Too bright for me, but it does look good. I like the idea of the oversized alarm siren. I need to start looking for one.

how much did the seats cost and where did you get them?
Got them on eBay, $600 + $100 shipping, brand new GM units, but not sure what they were intended for, they have all GM electric motors in them...they are very close to Vette seats and the guy I bought them from said they were just like his C4 Vette seats and when he got them they were supposed to be seats for a new GTO, but they aren't those either, but I've never seen any exactly like these in a Vette. They are full power frw/bkwd and front/rear up/down. No power lumbar though it has a pocket for the air ball for it and the controlls.

post a link please...

do they come in black?
It was from an individual, not a company. He had bought them to put in a project car that never happened. Was back in Jan or Feb when I bought them. I emailed the guy to see if he got them from a company and if so which one...I'll post back what he replies.

I have a few pain generators inside my GN up under the dash...those things are unbelievable. Since I'm out of the country I've had to store my GN, my father keeps an eye on it and starts it every so often for me. Unfortunuately, the battery went dead and when he had to replace it...as soon as he got the battery hooked up the Viper freaked out and all hell broke loose. I've got two sirens, and three pain generators...and he's in a garage that's in a narrow condominium drive so the sounds are echoing off the buildings. He said he was running in circles trying to find the tool to disconnect the battery, couldn't find it so he ran out to the street so he could think...then realized he was holding the battery tool the whole time. 2 security guards ran up and when they started talking to him he couldn't hear them...said all he heard was ringing for a few days.

He emailed me back saying he did buy them from a company and would see if he could locate the contact info. The quality is great, seams to be very durable leather on the bottoms and the backs are leather in the centers and I think vinyl on the sides. Very comfortable and the seat backs are plenty tall to reach above your head. I wish they had the lumbar in them though, surely they come with that since the control buttoms are there and the zip pocket is there.

He just replied back, I sent you the email, looks like it was an individual, try contacting him and include a pic of my seats.

DO you tow with that? If so how does it do? I just bought a 2000 Ext cab silverado and I wanna know how these things tow.

Yep, I tow my GN with it over 100 miles 1-way to the track each month. Pulls great, but I have a 400+ hp LT4 under the hood, a little different than your typical CK1500 Chevy truck...still has original gearing, I think 3.73.

Hey Reaper, it turns out that I lost the recliner handle, so I emailed the guy, Greg, that originally had these seats. He emailed me back asking me to call him. He bought them from GM but does not know if they use them in any cars. They were "Concept" seats built for GM to test, they had 12 pairs, 6 pairs were not used and Greg bought them. Does know if they made it into any '06 models so finding them may be impossible. All he knew was that they were made by Lear Seating.
Appearently he gets a lot of parts from GM that were used in "proving ground" vehicles, said he even gets complete LS1 and LS2 engines from time to time! So anyway....that's the story on where the seats came from.
