Isn't there supposed to be a sticker over the window for the chip? Doesn't the sticker prevent UV from erasing it???

they don't erase that easy..need some pretty intense UV..but you never know.

It can happen in anything from a few minutes to corrupt one byte to days in direct sunlight before it's junk.

Just goes to show the reputation eBay has, everthing is a great deal, LOL.
