and i hate the @$$^rd

it all started when my MC developed a leek, So i go buy a new one (Wow Advance had it in stock life is good)
i get to the driveway (work location) at about 8:30 PM pull up the car and i notice some oil dripping from the car (Not much 2-3 drops) So i open up the hood and notice that its coming from the one of turbo's oil filter lines anyways when i grab the line to see if its loose it snaps  right off the fitting.
So i forget about the MC and take care of the oil line (straighten, re-flare, re-bend it and reinstall it) Yeahh oil leak fixed i check the oil level and it was still on the full mark so it wasn't leaking for long, life is still good.

so i start the MC i put the turkey stuffer to work empty the MC of all brake fluid remove the two lines and the two nuts, prime the new one install it WOW that was easy.

In the mean time i had my nephew loosen all four tires and remove 3 of the five bolts on each wheel so that i can just jack it up pull the last two bolts and keep moving. while he is working on one of the rear tires i hear a very disturbing SCRAPE sound so i walk over to take a look and yes he took the paint off to the bare metal right on top of the wheel opening lip :mad::mad: He is a good kid and we get along great he comes to work with me sometimes we train together SO I just walked away with out saying a word besides “lets no make it 4 out of 4 OK” he got the hint.
Anyway the back of car is jacked up wheel is out so might as well check the brakes and here goes Murphy again, the front shoe on one side is cracked and the both shoes on the other side are just deteriorating (thats what they look like) not happy but lets move on now we are down to the last one to bleed gave it a few shots it looks good I say to my nephew just more clean ones and we are done, well the bleeder screw brakes Well at least it broke on the closed position. BUT while I had front end up I also checked the front suspension and guess what I find, you got it a lower ball joint about to go. So now it late (early AM hours) what to do?? I decided since nothing is going good I might as well do and oil change and thermostat change, I had no problems with this.

But on the way back home while driving very slowly (bad ball joint) the car doesn’t idle below 1200 RPM.
I get home at about 3:30 but this RPM stuff is really bugging me so I pop the hood to take a look and I found that the IAC plug had pulled out.

Now I am on 2.5 hours sleep and going to work:mad::mad:

i Hope your car day went better then mines.

Yeah Murphy is a real @sshole , for some reason he is always hanging around me, especially when I'm working on TR's . The guys got no class .

Dude, Murphy saved your life. 100mph blasts down the strip with bad brakes and ball joints is a disaster waiting to happen....

Who the H e L L is MURPH?

I have this guy called BUNKER around me :D complete with my DINGBAT wife.

the sleeplessness didn't catch up to me while i was at work and i was able to get to tomorrows jobs done which means that Murphy can help me change the 2 lower ball joints (getting replaced with Moog joints), the rear brakes, front brakes and getting the rotors cut.

the part that bothers me the most is the ball joints (besides the obvious) i am a maintenance freak especially the front end, i checked all this stuff about 2 1/2 to 3 months ago and everything was good (ZERO PLAY) and now it feels like i can pull it out by hand:mad: i guess thats what happens we you settle for the cheap ship because the parts store doesn't have or carry the good stuff.:mad:

BTW this a version of Murphy http://www.movieposter.com/posters/archive/main/49/MPW-24995

Everytime I pick up a wrench anymore that ******* shows up!
