me and my woman were on our way to pick up a pizza, and i see this cop car, and i look over and he gave me a funny look, so i gave him the finger, in turn he turned on his flood light on. blinding me (it was night) i reacted with giving him the finger again, and oops he turned on his siren.. but i didnt pull over... he actually turned around..

lucky arent i?

no because we all know this cop.. his name is WakkoSS.. heh

I always wondered that. Is it against the law to give the cop the finger? Would they just pull you over or would they just ride you to catch you doing something wrong?

Anyone want to try?

Heh, if I'd have had time I woulda pulled him over. When he first gave me the finger I went "Hey, that guy thinks cause he's in Hanson that he can flick me off!" Oops, just Neil.

Go ahead and flick off a cop...you'll get a ticket for "improper hand signal". :) And yes, it's legit!

I suppose it depends on what state you're in. I know of no violation for flicking the bird to a cop here in Michigan, though you'd get some unwanted attention as in a traffic stop. I'd say the "bird" is protected by the 1st Amendment, however a vehicle inspection isn't :)

vendor defender I hope u go to prison and get raped repeatally!!! Your the type of ahole that give America a bad name!!!

theres a BUNCH of them that own turbo buicks.

There are only two cops that own 3 turbo buicks that I know of.

Roanoke Co. cop that lives in Salem:

87 GN
WE4

2nd cop (Roanoke co also I think):

The white TR with black out package (saw it today on Elm ave)

It may be protected, but what would you do if someone flipped it? I wouldn't blame any cop for being pretty pissed...:)

Treat cops like pit bulls. Just leave them alone, mind your own business, and everything will be OK.

In that case I was kidding!!! Cops are good people,,,its like any other job, there's people that sometimes abuse their authority such as CEO's, to Govt employees. Unfortunately police officers are the only people that can take your constitutionally protected freedom away with arrest powers. When you think of it like that,,it's scary as hell.
So the next time you see one, odds are he/she served in the military, is married probably with children, has a house in the suburbs and is a normal human being. My hat's off to them.

and another thing since I'm on my soap box,,,,in Sept '02 I went to a funeral of a young Ennis TX police officer that was gunned down in the line of duty. On a slow weekday night he responded to a shots fired call at a gas station. When he arrived, he rolled up blacked out behind the business and approached on foot. When he rounded the corner of the station he saw two cars at the pumps and several people in the business pointing out towards the pumps. As he approached the pumps with his pistol in ready position, a male popped up from behind one of the vehicles and opened fire with a shotgun. The officer scrambled for cover but was caught in the open but was able to return fire before being struck. The officer was hit under his right arm where his body armor didn't cover. The pellets from the shotgun destroyed his heart killing him within seconds. The officers rounds struck the suspect in the chest and abdomen. The suspect was rushed to surgury and survived.
This is the events that occurred prior to the officers arrival; The suspect had pulled up to the station to get gas, he filled up and payed for his gas. While he was doing this an hispanic man pulled up to the pump next to the suspects car and began pumping his gas. The suspect then got into his car but wouldn't start due to a dead battery. He got out and asking the hispanic man next to him if he could jump his car off. The hispanic man didn't understand because he didn't speak english. Apparently the suspect flipped out due to this, went to his trunk pulled out a shotgun a killed the hispanic man. The people inside the station witnessed what was happening and dialed 911. You know the rest.
At his funeral I looked in the eye's of the officer's wife,,,,there's nothing that could describe the pain that I saw. They had only been married for just under two years and she was 7 months pregnant with their baby girl, he was only 28 yoa and an ex-Marine. :(
