like I said I had a similar experience with him come at the crack of dawn...
then the car was his friends and after taking some of the column out, he's like no come back another day I need to move the car into the street so the city will take it and I cant mve it without the column
needless to say I got the part from Bob H up in mass it was worth the short drive to get exactly what I needed for a very reasonable price

Yea i know who you are talking about. At one time i was looking for a short block and he advised me Jaspers motors were junk. 10 mins later (must have remembered his friend) hes trying to sell me a Jaspers motor swearing that its 100percent great... I was like ok never mind.

pnyklr- if you are going to tell stories you need to get your facts right-the 442 iu had was mutually bought by me and a friend of mine-we towed it to my friends house where we stripped the parts that each one wanted. i had the title of that car then and still have it now. if you get these simple facts wrong i can only guess what other untruths your saying.
i didnt think you would know anything about the metal thickness of a gas tank. cant please everyone. if the tank doesnt leak now and you re going to apply por-15 which uses moisture to cure -how would you ever have any leaks on the tank-very highly improbable-later.Ps i would want to sell any of you whiners any parts no desperate how you are! go bitchin somewherelse.
All I know is I came there took some stuff apart then you didnt let me take the column you also wanted to push the car into the street but couldnt since someone was blocking the driveway
Long story short... I drove out there to get the column, wasted a drive there, and came home with nothing but agita and two very pissed off friends
I wasnt going to charge you anything for the column,you could have come alone-dont need three guys to remove a column-i pulled the motor,trans,rear and everythingelse myself-situation was beyond my control-$hit happens. if i had a use for the tank i sold i wouldnt hesitate to buy it back but i dont.
1 it wasnt the point of paying for the column I had money
2 I brought friends since it was after midnight and I was going to get parts from someone I never met before
3 you couldve let me know BEFORE I drove out there that I couldnt take the column hell you even couldve let me know BEFORE I started taking it apart

nothing was out of your control all you had to do was go by the car before we got there and let me know

the car was at my friends house so out of respect i left the decision of what he wanted to do up to him since he had to answer to his landlord; i had no idea of what would take place that day; i wouldnt have taken your money for the column cause i never asked for any; your problems are not my problems.do you get it? I hope you and Bob will be very happy together. Sorry for trying to help you out- it will never happen again.
How did you help me out ?
If the car was at your so called friends house why werent prior arrangements made with your friend to ensure that I would come there get the column and go home
you also could have had your friend make arrangements with the landlord BEFORE I came there?
The problems were brought on by your lack of planning that
1) caused me to drive there at the crack of dawn
2) come to look at a column start taking it out then go home empty handed
How did that help anyone out except for supporting the gas company that I had to pay for gas in my car and for E-z pass for me paying the tolls?
Hell I lost money on this "help"
yes I'm happy with all of the vendors/sellers I have used that have actually provided goods or services Bob being one of them (see link in profile for other unsatisfied seller)
