iac question

ok tested my iac its dead ,

will the 86-87 work at all?
anyone here tried?

84-85 is 3 times more , just thought id check

it is the same part i used it when i swapped over to the 87 engine.

IAC for Hot Air and IC are different as listed.

looks like i had a 86-87 in there i put the new 85 back in

and it idles
but still high at 950 counts good at 30 (yes base idle was set)

the chip says dyno tech stage 3

any one know that co.

would the idle functions be set higher?

Check ALL hoses for vacuum leaks.
IAC motor may be suspect. Clean the TB with some carb cleaner and make sure yout TPS is set. Check for a sticking throttle. Drive the car for a bout 10 miles and reset your IAC and TPS after the drive.
