Hey Guys,

A while back I removed my IAC valve to clean/inspect. The pintle and spring was "carboned up" so I cleaned it.

My question is is that pintle suppose to be hard to "push/pull" in its housing?

My idle is good, but with the little spring around the pintle shaft - it seems the pintle is binding and I don't see how the spring can overcome the resistance... Thanks.

Mike

Not moving is good. It's an electric geared motor that makes it move. 4 wires: 2 hots and 2 grounds to to go in 2 directions. Put it back on.

I'm use to VW type, electric solenoids, so having that motor inside makes sense... Thanks TURBOTWIN2
