Can anyone tell me what brand this is? I would also like to know if it is a balooning or nonbalooning.

That side doesn't have a balloon plate.

Hey Dusty sorry I don't understand. I am trying to figure out if you or anyone can tell me if this converter might baloon forward. I don't want to take out my thrust bearing. Thanks

The converter does not have an anti-ballooning plate on it so it's possible it will balloon. That's not the only thing that will take out the thrust bearing. Depending how the pump in the transmission was built, excessive pressure in the converter will push it forward and take out the thrust bearing.

You want front and rear anti balloon plates. It takes a decent amount of torque to ballon a converter so just because it doesn't have them doesn't mean it's ballooned. Any aftermarket converter should have both plates. It would need to be checked for the proper heights to see if it has ballooned.
