I havent used the Kompressor pads yet but I have heard the same about being good on curves. The regular LC pads take some finessing to get results on very curvy panels, so the Kompressors are probably worth a shot.
As fasr as the wool goes, you most likely wont need it as I said before. I only use wool anymore to remove sanding marks of 2000 or less. I would hate to try and remove sanding marks with a foam pad
