68-70 VW Karmen Ghia
That would be way cool too after reenforcing the body alot and a full cage as I don't think those little bodies are very strong, especially in case of a high speed impact, and with an LC2 high speed would be frequent :)

Gremlin

Here is some pics of old pics of my first race car. I traded my 69 AMX in on this brand new 73. Went from street car with a 304 v8 , to street /strip car with a 390 , to all out tube chassis car with the same 390 ( went 9.80 back in1978). Eventually I got stupid and let my friends talk me into putting a BBC in it ( wish I would never have done that ). Eventually grew tired of the BBC
and bought my first stage 2 buick v6!!! I sold this car in 1995 because of
health reasons ( back problems ). Recovered from that and bought my dragster ( much easier to work on for my back) ENJOY!! I SURE DID!!!! Mike:cool: :(

Audi Quattro?

What about an Audi Quattro? you would have 4wd and get that much more power to the ground, or for a super sleeper, a Ford Tempo 4WD, or a Pontiac 6000 STE 4wd. GM did put the 3.8 in some of the A-bodies. AMC Eagle?

Since it's a Buick V6 I've considered something that came factory with the 231 V6 engine.

An early to mid 1980's 4 door Buick Regal (read: grandma's driver) or possibly a 1975-1978 Buick Skylark 4 door, you know the ones that look like a Nova.

Or even a 1975-1980 Buick Skyhawk. (Chevy Monza's cousin)

Not a 4x4 but still a 1st Gen !

NICE! I'm interested in seeing how you end up getting this all together. I inquired about a 3.8 SFI Turbo in a 1st GEN S-10...seems the consensus says there is some issues with getting the intercooler and such to fit in due to lack of space.....though I also considered the hot air 3.8's but wondered if 200 hp/300 tq was really worth it, when a typical 350 Chevy can make more.

The Gremlin and the Metro are classic, I heard someone had a Miata with a GN motor and was schooling cars like madd.

Would love to get a clean, light blue, 67 convertible Vette and put in an TA block.

Nuts4lc2, that motor has a ton of rust, yet you slapped on a lot of great parts, did you find it in a creek near by??

id say 68 AMC AMX

I was thinking the same thing. I love those AMX cars!
I would also love a Model A Ford with an LC2! I think I would go with a late 50's-60's Hot Rod style to it and leave the hood and fenders off. These things are light too so it should be a rocket!

I have aN SST Javlin with 23,000 original miles on it and i also have a complete drivetrain out of my GN that i sadly totaled out and would love to put the GN drivetrain in the SST but i hate to because of the miles on the car, Kinda wanted to keep it original;) What's everyone's opinion? Lets take a poll !!! Keep it original or Put the GN drivetrain in?

Just keep the original motor drivetrain, etc.....

And make the Javlin a True sleeper, just drive it like if you were going to with the original motor etc.... Just my humble opinion, can you imagine the kids or even adults jaws drop when you walk'em down, you could even let them take off first. ;)

....maybe put a LC2 in a Smartcar..hehe that would have the environmentalists on knots :D

79 Z-28

This would have been the one i would have done it too but my sister bought it before i could and they are putting the bbc back in it. This car was my Aunt's that passed away in 1999. I was the one who always wanted the car but my sister is the one with money so she bought it from her old husband with a seized engine that i had to take out cuz she knows nothing about cars.
