Ignition Module Ungrounded ?????

I have a 87 Ignition Module on my 84, ??? the ignition Module is not connected to the bracket because they are different.

????Will cause a NO-START problem????? 87 to 84 mounting pad.

If so where can I get a conversion plate to connect the two. (87 wiring harness).

It can cause a No Start, or at best intermittent misses and such.

You could always try a braided ground strap from the module to the engine.That should work.

Radius Kid is right...It WILL work...Ran my car like that for a long time with the coil pack/ign module zip-tied down to the bracket with a ground wire from the bottom of the coil pack to the engine block...
