It sounds like the Orange wire is ok. Here is a link for spring start up on gnttype.org. If you search in the tech section you will find the 86-87 ecm pin out diagram also.

I would not start buying parts to quickly as it was running, just keep checking everything the problem will probably be more simple than the ecm or coil pack, possibly a relay, last time I had a situation like yours is was the stock MAF screen getting sucked in to the maf tube.

Have checked most wiring now,going to change the ecm and cilpack now,must do somrthing
Can the key stop the ignition or what parts can stop both spark and fuelpulse?

How common is it that the cam/crank sensor fails on these engines ,it is not my ICCC anyway.
