Hey all,
Its been awhile since I have been on the board.
I went by the user name of bigboost on my old user name from my previous email address. I sold my last GN to seeya who brought it to a 10.60 car from my 10.9 street car status run. This 87 was the last of three turbo cars I had. The first was an 86 gn that found it's way to Northern Virginia, the second togo was my WE4 car that went to s carolina, and the last fasat car went to NH. I just sold my 96 LT4 6speed vette and bought a nice 87 WE4. I can't tell you how happy I am being part of the family again!!
It has been calling me and I answered the call. The vette was fast and fun, but turbo buicks rule!!!!!!!:D :D

Hey guys,
Let me ramble for a minute. The one thing I really loved about the buick community was that I always felt like we were all a memeber of a club or family. I contributed to the forum for years and enjoyed the brotherhood. I gotta tell ya, coming boack to the group and getting one welcome back is alittle harsh. Is the brotherhood gone? Are we no better then the other "groups"?
I was on the forum from almost the beginning and one welcome??
Maybe I'll buy a rustang!!

welcome back. dont go and buy a rustang what fun would it be to have a car you see on every corner??

aw man dont let that get to you, welcome back, and now that your in the family try to stay in it this time, enjoy your new ride

Ok, welcome back D.K.:)
What have you got planned for the new WE4?

hey man you made the right decision, have fun with the WE4:D got any pics?

Welcome back, as you have seen things are a little bit different, lots of the old timers have dug a hole and only come out when the "all clear" signal has been sounded...... ;) Enjoy your new ride, I'm sure it was a rush the first blast back!!!

Thanks all for the kind words, and yea Im feeling the love now. I guess I am an old timer, 42 and have been into the turbo cars since 92. Once i started working for a Buick dealership and got involved with the cars, I was hooked.
Hey Jack, thanks for the kind words. Don't know if you remember me, but I used to race with Bobby Mason from VA and you were my vendor of choice.
I will be calling soon for a front mount!
It,s great to be back, and thanks again for the welcome.

Big Dave

Welcome back man, always good to have another enthusiastic Buick guy on the board. It's especially good to see someone come back. Hope you have great fun with the WE4 and good times here as well.

So, you're buying a front mount, what're the other plans for the new baby?

Welcome back to the Buick family.

Thanks guys.
I did the vette thing for awhile. Fun car, but couldn't take the kids anywhere and the wife hated it. It was a 96 LT4 with some bolt ons, hot cam, 411 gears and the bottle. Still not nearly as fast as the WE4 that I just bought. Gotta love the turbo buicks. My goal is to have another 10 second ride but this one will not have a cage. I am looking to build a very driveable ride. Only a buick can quench this thirst!!
Glad to be back.
Big Dave:D
