well all,

My eye sight is not improving all that much. the depth perception is gone but the blurred and double is there. tHE CAT SCAN SHOWED MY HEAD INJURY STILL THERE BUT LIGHTER COLOR SO THEY THINK ITS GOING AWAY. Ooops sorrycaps on.

I also met someone and amnow dating him. No its not justa6. He has a new g/f, a new life, and well he lives with her. So no its not him

Its someone else who likes me for me and makes mesmile a TON!!!!!

they said i may have to see a specialist for my arm cause its still so sore and weak and my left leg is very week

But its nothing time will heal

I was in a terrible car accidenton st.patricks day.

I gave blood and passedout while I was driving and drove my trruck off road and into a ditch that was down 7 - 8 feet from the road and it started filling with water

I was knock unconsious

I was hospitilized for amonth and then released for 2 weeks then re evealuated for therapy and now am getting it

the worst part was being re taught how to walk

From the way you write and reply, it sounds like you are still all there! Thats something to be thankful for. I've had a few friends with head injuries, and they lost a lot of their knowledge. Work as hard as you can for this first year. About all of your recovery will be done then. After the first year, what you haven't relearned takes a lot more time. Stick with the therapy. I know it can be very hard sometimes.

If you every need any help, don't hesitate to ask "your boys" on TB.com :)

thanks black6pack

I rely on the TB gang for a lot

I know everything isn't there

dr's arent sure I will get everything back

From the sound of all that therapy it sounds like you suffered from a Tramatic Brain Injury. My wife used to work at one of the nation's best center for Tramatic Brain Injury and its tragic how some people end up. It sounds like you're starting to recover well though. BTW, my wife is a Speech Pathologist.

Good Luck,

James

Glad to hear you are doing better now. Hope it continues with good therapy. :)

Hey you ain't dating me! I can make you smile a ton and a half without the whipped cream. ;)

Congratulations, and it's always good to hear from you.

Girl_6, I will pray/cross my fingers that you exceed ALL of the Dr.'s expectations and recover everything except bad habits. Get well / get better / keep going.

Glad to hear that you are doing better. Like everyone else said stick with the therapy, it maybe hard and painful sometimes, but it does help. Take care.
