Selling my Impalla SS alternator as it doesn't fit the new champion AC Delete alternator bracket I just bought. Alternator works just fine, with very few miles on it. Only reason for sale is it doesn't fit my new champion bracket, but it will fit the stock bracket configuration as I have had it on my car. $100 shipped.

Can send pics upon request.

thanks,
Nate

interested, but does this have a different style/look than the stock one, why wouldnt it fit if it fit in stock brkt. are connections different? any pics, thanks rob

Hi Rob, If I recall correctly the only difference is that the hole in the back of the impalla alt. is in a different location than the GN one. The impalla has the hole closer to the center, whereas the GN is closer to the edge. This hole location is why I can use it for the Champion bracket. You'll lose that mounting location if you use the stock bracketry, but that isn't an issue as it held in place by the other two locations. The stud on the back of the impalla alt. is slightly larger so you can either drill out your existing terminal to go over it, or add a new one. I just enlarged mine. Like i said I had it on mine with the stock brackets without any issues at all, but got rid of the AC and the tensioner, so that drove me to the Champion bracket....

Thanks,

thought i had first dibs here, ...thats why my post said interested and ask a question, guess i got screwed, i guess i sell here diferently than u do,..... in order of interested response, you didnt even pm me.

Sorry for your missed sale. I didn't read into your first response anything more than you were interested. There are many people who ask questions to which you reply and you never recieve any further correspondence from and I am sorry, but I don't always have to time to track all these people down to get a definitive answer on intentions to buy or not. Most recently I held an item for just about a month for a person only for that person back out of the sale for one reason or another. All the while passing over several other interested parties. To me "interested" is more like I am considering buying it, but haven't made up my mind yet. My mistake for misinterperating what you meant when you said interested and I apologize for that misunderstanding. My advice would be that next time, state clearly you wanted first dibs. Now to be fair, don't throw mud at me and say I didn't PM, when you didn't ask me to in the first place AND I clearly answered all of your questions in less than 25 minutes of your post requesting information.

Thanks,
Nate

just a misunderstanding of intentions i guess, i have missed out on several buys by asking a question or asking for pics, only to have someone else jump at it before i even know there is a reply, just like this situation, i would have bought it. i always notice my pms at login so i thought i had no response yet, and i dont wont to be one of those guys that jump and say I WILL TAKE IT, then say but i have these questions,? and send me pics, oh and now will you take this much? and then you never hear from them, anyway no harm, you have a point that on here its hard to tell how serious people that reply are, best regards, rob
