For those of us who own a Turbobuick(for fun) and an import(for the daily grind). I was looking into putting together a early 90's Civic with a JDM twincam setup to replace my Geo Prizm. It would be cheap, reliable, quick, and there's a huge aftermarket for these setups. Well, while shopping and researching the dozens of websites dedicated to such swaps, I stumbled upon a site that has the usual Japanese makes. So I clicked on the Toyota link and found that there are 4agze swaps available for less than $2000. 4agze's can be found in the late 80's supercharged MR2's. After 89, this engine was only available in non US Corollas. These are rated as high as 170hp and 155ft/lb torque, and supposedly will drop in with very few modifications. As a Honda/Acura tech. for 14 years, the thought of a S/C Prizm, for half the price of a comparable N/A Honda, is tempting as heck. So what do ya'll think?
