Importing a car??

Has anyone imported a car to the US from Europe? Why kind of regulations and fees are there?

Depends on the car, the older the car is the less safety regs it has to adhere to, it may also depend on your home state. I've used freight forwarding companies such as "www.oceaniashipping.com" to ship cars back and forth from Europe... good luck!!

A buddy of mine in houston did it with a 68 MG TD. He had to do down to the port when it came in and they inspected it for the safety standards in 68, fix what was wrong or they wouldn't let it in the country

Thats wild i was just about to suggest oceania, I haul cars for them all the time and know the owner personally they are good people...Im omw to jersey right now with one of their cars heres the number
