Infinity Reference or Polk Audio 10" subs?

Circuit City has Infinity Reference 1020w and Polk Audio GNX104 10" subs on sale this week. Between the two, which sub is best? I listen to Slipknot, Mudvayne, Metallica, Korn, etc. I want a sub that will produce a good clean thump from the drums. I will be using an Alpine head unit and I havn't bought an amp yet.

i dont know if it HAS to be a 10" sub or not but I have a Infinity Reference 12" sub that I assume is brand new....i bought it off eBay for $80 and never hooked it up yet b/c I sold my car....it does not have a box but it looks brand new i looke dit over and can't find a flaw in it....if your interested i'll sell it to you....let me know....off the top of my head i think it is called 1220 but i could be wrong
