1) You should not have any knock below 15 psi boost alky or not. So while your mashing the pedal your not telling us at how much boost & what is happening.
2) If your tank is low on gasoline you might be leaning it out. If your fuel pressure drops when going into boost.. you will see knock. The Xylene maybe band aiding it.
3) the Alky kit works directly off of boost. The LED going red to green while that is now an issue, I don't know that is the issue especially at lower boost levels. One thing I suspect is the "Initial" control inside the PAC box may need to be increased a touch. That will put a little more power to the pump. So if its at 11:30 move it to 12:30. And make sure the ground to the controller is solid.
4)If your BL numbers are below 128 idle/cruise you probably have too much fuel pressure. I usually set fuel pressure to see some numbers above and below 128.
5) You should get a fuel pressure gauge and put it to the windshield so you can confirm every lb of boost your getting a lb of fuel pressure. So if its 43 lbs line off.. at 15 lbs you have 58 psi fuel pressure. 20 PSI you have 23 lbs. if at 20 psi you have 58.. your going to get knock.

That's true.
Will the increase in octane band-aid a low fuel issue though? Is that what you meant?
I will check the pax box and ground.
My fuel pressure comes from a 237 pressure regulator. But I could turn down fuel with my gen 2 translator right? Can too much fuel cause knock?
What should my fuel pressure be at 20 psi?

At 20 psi you should have 65 psi as your regulator should give you 45. Every lb of boost is 1 lb fuel.
Surprised you don't have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator considering the amount of mods you already have.
If the car leans out getting into boost, it will knock.

I did have an AFPR, but I like the stock look so I asked and asked around here to see if a stock 237 TTA regulator would work for my application and everyone on here said yes. It provides enough fuel pressure and with all the adjustability I have in my system with the 2nd gen translator and TT chip that I would be able to add or subtract fuel anywhere I would need in my system.
I will reconfirm the low fuel and xylene band aid thing soon, then re-check fuel pressure rise rate as well.

Ok, haven't gotten a fuel pressure tester yet but I did notice my exhaust clamp bolts hitting the drive shaft when I jacked the car up. I hear that stuff that can hit your drive shaft will set off a knock sensor. We'll see. I'm going to put normal gas in it and drive it around. Still gotta check the pac box and ground. Will be back.

Bumped up the little dial in the pac kit from 1130 to 1230. Threw a little more alky in and drove it around. When I hit it, the kr jumps up to like .3 then immediately disappears. I'm thinking it's "shift knock". Car runs good so far but I'm not sure if that's alky or race fuel. Putting in normal 93 tomorrow and doing more tests. So far so good.

How fast does the led change from red to green?

If its going green quick.. system is healthy
