Years ago I replaced my Injector Harness with the replacement available from Caspers.

Earlier today I removed the Fuel Rail + Injectors to replace the Injector Rubber O-Rings, and I noticed the harness on the even side was connected 2, 6, 4 - it's like WTF?

I am pretty certain this contributed to my car not running correctly - or is there something in the triggering of the injector design where his would not matter?

I REALLY don't do stoooooopid shit like that, i am still shaking my head after seeing that.

im sorry i cant help u, but i was wondering if u could help me? why do u switch to a new harness i see them on allot of sites? wondering what the advantage is?

Some people have had the harness burn out due to heat from the egr. People also pinch them when changing injectors. Some of the new harnesses are hotwired for better power to the injectors. The harnesses are also 25 years old and are subject to a lot of underhood heat. Especially if they are driven hard.

thanks 100% sense, i was just curious if you HAD to do it, like u have to add the injector harness when doing a hotwire fuel pump, i agree with ya though 25 year old harness wouldnt hurt to replace!

2,4,6 is correct for the passenger bank from the front of the car to back...are you saying you had it backwards?

yes it matters that you had cylinder 4 and 6 switched
as your SFI hood bagdes state ..we are sequentially fuel injected not batch fire
