injector questions

What colors are used for the various size injectors. Also what size are our stock injectors? Are injectors universal. Will injectors of a ford work on our cars?

The stock injectors are 28lbs. I gave mine to my brother in law, and he replace the Bosch injectors on his taurus with them. I beliece his were 14lbs. I have never tried to use injectors off anything else, but have seen quite a few and they all look completely interchangable.

The only colors I know for sure are 40lbs= red stripe on the top. Ford bluetops= you guessed it, blue stripe. 009s=green stripe. I believe there are a few injectors out there with a green stripe.
