I just purchased an innovate wide band from full throttle speed. I have a few questions about the install from those of you who have already been there and done that. I have a powerlogger and would like to be data logging the afr but don't know that I necessarily want to mount the gauge - do I need to for it to work? Can the bung for the o2 sensor be mounted in the test pipe as opposed to the down pipe? Anybody have any suggestions for the routing of the wiring from the exhaust into the interior with minimal butchering of the firewall etc? Is there anything special (aside from connecting the output of the WB to the powerlogger input) that I need to know to get the powerlogger to work with the innovate system? Anything else that came in handy that I have not mentioned?

Thanks for the assistance!

The MTX-L needs the gauge. The LC-1 does not.

You can mount the bung in the test pipe but if the joint leaks it will slightly throw off reading at idle. WOT will be fine.

I've gone through the shifter cable hole and put the controller under the console. That's prolly your best bet if your going to put in in the test pipe. Unless you want to drill a hole.

Thanks - I wouldn't have thought to put the controller under the console! I do have the LC-1 so I am leaning toward not using the gauge - unless there is a drawback to that that I am not thinking of?

thanks again for the help.

No drawback. The gauge is just for monitoring.

Use a good engine ground for the LC-1.
