The directions show a manifold source of boost going to the solenoids and to the wastegate. Can you use the turbo fitting as the source of boost to the top and bottom of the wastegate?

I just went thru the instructions and it doesnt say specifically not to use the port for both. I use CO2 in my system and have the turbo port hooked up directly to the top of the wastegate s its used only for one signal inmy case.

Don't know much about the innovative boost control, but there is a big diff between "manifold" and turbo casing. In one case you are controlling boost to the engine, and in the other you are controlling turbo discharge pressure. Pressure drop through the IC makes a difference. Also, the manifold will under vacuum when the throttle blade closes, but the turbo casing is never under vacuum. Don't know which way Innovative wants it, but it may make a difference.

If you do not intend to use C02 etc. The Turbo port fitting line should be used to feed the Bottom of the wastegate. Intake Manifold Pressure line thru solenoids to Top of Gate. I also use a separate Manifold feed to the Innovative Map sensor.

Works For Me!

Thanks joe thats what I had planned. The line to my 3 bar will tee off to the solenoids I ran seperate line from manifold to the innovative boost solenoid then the solenoids to top of the racegate and turbo port to the bottom of the gate. The instructions just mention manifold pressure or outside source like c02 so I wanted to make sure the turbo port can be used.

DO NOT TEE OFF THE 3 Bar Map to go to solenoids!!

The signal to the Innovative Map should be a dedicated line from intake manifold...or you could tee it off the line going from manifold to the GM Map.

Then use a separate line from intake manifold pressure to the solenoids out of them to the top of gate.

Thanks Joe I was getting ready to finish the project and tee off of the 3 bar. I am glad I checked 1 more time on the board before I did I will do as you just said

This is strange as innovate told me to hook it up opposite as you suggest. I will just have to try both ways and see the difference i guess, what have you found when you reversed it?

Norbs I hooked it up like Joe suggested and it works great Turbo to bottom of wastegate and solenoids to the top of wastegate
