Inportance of air temp sensor

Im running the speed pro speed density. I have the air temp out of the turbo plumbing. Does it need to be in the inlet track or can I leave it open to ambient?

The closer you know to what's going into the engine, combined with the correct factoring, means the more accurate your tune will be under all conditions.

So you really want your MAT as close to an intake valve as practical.

Things like a hot soak, followed by a long time staging and the MAT can go higher then you might imagine.
