New to this site ... I am mainly a Poncho person but I have a beautiful 84 Cutlass with a Buick V-6 and a very solid 81 Pontiac T1000 with a bad mo-mo. Among my parts cars is a 1980 Yellowbird Firebird with a good running 90 degree Buick V-6. I recently found an internet article describing a GM plan to create a Chevette RS by simply bolting in the Buick V-6 and Powerglide combo with no cutting involved. I plan to attempt this and while the motor is out was trying to figure out what my options are for performance level. I would like to experiment a bit and was considering straight alcohol conversion then possibly moving on to supercharging and or turbocharging the alcohol motor once I get the car going straight, hooking up and not breaking. I dont know exactly what needs to be changed for alcohol and thought I might get some good input here. Also was wondering what the maximum potential in RPM and HP would be for this motor and how others have gotten there. Thanks
Keith
