i just got my settelment for my 87 gn after six month of hell.
they ofered me 1000.00 dollers minis my 500.00 deductable that leaves
me with 500.00 to find a clean car with 90,000 mile on it anyone know where
i can find one .

You should check into that . $1000 is WAYYYYYYYYY low for a GNs book. Take them to court if you have to , current retail is what you should be getting and if you look in the paper for a good cond GN thats at least 7 grand. Whats your story im curious , accident , fire ???

Must be Geico or some other cheapie insurance company. The best auto insurers like Farmers don't offer comp and collision on older cars since they may require specialty repair or parts fabricated. Anyway just go get a copy of the auto trader, etc. and show them the value of a comparably equipted GN in your home state. Also threatening to get an attorney involved should make them really start to move because then they would have to hire attorney$ to deal with your attorney and then both of you would be screwed even more. You shouldn't actually get an attorney as they will probably give you a check for $100 after all their hours are added up @ $350 - 600 an hour + misc. expenses.

my 2000 dodge durango was stolen in april of this year, and after a 3 month investigation they decided not to pay the claim, stating that i had something to do with the theft, so now i have to sue titan ins co for approx. $20,000. (remaining lease payments, and payoff) so, i feel for ya, these insurance companys try to take advanage of you, after you pay the exorbanant rates (mine was $450.00/month) they treat you like a criminal trying to steal from them. the worst part of this now is that i still have to make my payment ($502.67) on the truck until they settle the suit.
