i dunno. i tried to read the gauges but i cant tell, but i doubt it was mph. also they come stock with a 1300 motor thats hefty alone. a good company for turbo kits for these things is called NLR (next level racing) and they provide a full kit, including i.c. and are putting out really good numbers. i dont remember off hand what kind of numbers, but if you want i can look in my magazine. they also do regular gixxers 600, 750 and 1000 turbo kits.:D :p also, are we sure that was a turbo hayabusa?? i didnt hear anything like a turbo, so im not sure it actually was a turbo'd one. i could be wrong tho

The 158 at the top means that its 2 minutes until 2 o'clock. Not the speed. This is not a turbo bike. Probably about 180mph.

Well the bike in the second video is definitely a turbo Busa. You can hear the BOV on it when it shifts. Also when the camera pans in at the begin you can see the side exiting downpipe. And that bike is really pegging the speedometer.

This bike is the same thing as in the second video. Same company makes it.

Just isn t corrected.....I believe the rider even said the speedo was wrong. and that it was 180 or so.

Yes busas are alittle hard to leave on....;)

John Noonan of JE pistons has the fastest street driven motorcycle in the world. He went a 2 way average of 246 over the 5 mile course at bonneville. I believe one direction was 251.

It is a turbo busa.

NLR bike was for sale in the past but at least one has made 635 rwhp or so....

Lots of worked na busas can run 200 to 220....in 9 /10's.....yes a 9 /10ths drag race.....

A stock busa can trap 145 but you need good air etc...in the 1/4 ...

Most low hp turbo busas trap 160 -170 in the 1/4...

i saw a turbo busa w/ a slick and a nitrous shot run 8.8 at sacramento raceway!!!

it was kinda funny, while he was heating up the slick he droped the bike on its side by mistake. people were laughing at him and calling him a jackass:rolleyes: they werent laughing any more when he ran his 8 seccond run.

the anouncer said that this guy had been in a 180 MPH wipeout a couple years back on a busa! i cant belive he recovered or even survived the crash

I dunno.. I've got another vid, same bike as in the second link posted above, that clearly shows the bike accelerating from 130-180mph in about 6 seconds.. According to his webpage, he had about 320rwhp at the time.

I read a post several days ago on another forum about a guy with 5xx rwhp planning on a top speed run (well over 200mph). I'm no expert so I won't say if I think the vids are legitimate (posted above), but with that much power it sure seems like they are :D

I dont know anything about bikes but is it possible to shift all the way to 3rd gear while doing a wheelie? I think that would be challenging.

yeah, probably. it depends on the rider tho. most of the time they can, but sometimes if theyre on the freeway then no, inless they slow down and downshifty into third and then pull it up. usually tho, if theyre from a deadstop they can go up to third gear.
